ACM Multimedia Systems Conference Amsterdam, June 12 - 15, 2018

Travel Grants ACM MMSys 2018, Amsterdam

The organizers of ACM MMsys 2018 are delighted to announce that SIGMM will fund participation grants for a number of students. These grants will support attendance of students to the conference (only travel expenses). There are two schemes funded by SIGMM for MMSys 2018. Firstly, scheme one will support applicants depending on geographical areas, topics and paper quality. The second opportunity to receive support is via the theme of “Nurturing new talent in the SIGMM community”. This grant is part of SIGMM Funding for New Initiatives including Desk Study of Gender and Diversity within SIGMM. The support will depend on diversity, topics, and paper quality. For both grants, students will have to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. Details on both schemes are provided below.

Scheme 1: Student Travel Grant ACM MMSys 2018

Scope

  • Students who are (co-) authors of an accepted paper in the conference or one of the associated workshops will be given preference.
